Women 4 Christ meet on the Monday following the first Sunday of each month. It is composed of individual women, each giving of their God-given abilities in a united effort to advance the cause of Christ in the church, community, and throughout the world. Their motto is taken from Philippians 4: 13 "I can do all things through Christ.” The threefold purpose of the Woman’s Auxiliary is Missions, Devotion, and Service. You are invited to join this very active group!
The Rupert Pittman Men's Fellowship is where men of the church gather for food, fellowship, and service. This group discusses and address needs within the church family and community, support all ministries of the church, and plan and carry out projects to help those in need. This group meets the third Tuesday night of every month. They have a meal, hear from a speaker, always have a group circle prayer and fellowship. Men's Fellowship meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Family Life Center.This group strongly encourages all men to come and help support this vital ministry as they move forward doing God's work. You'll be glad you did!
Music is a vital part of the ministry of Daniels Chapel. We enjoy a diverse range of musical styles, including traditional hymns and anthems, southern gospel, contemporary and spiritual. Our church has several choirs covering all ages and musical skills. We'd love to have you join one (or more!) of our choirs!
Chancel Choir practices on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm. Children's Choirs (through 5th grade) meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Youth Choir (grades 6-12) practices on Sundays at 5:15 pm. Handbell Choir Practices Wednesdays at 6:15 pm. Praise Team practices Sundays at 9:00 am.
The Golden Ages Club is a group of "seasoned" and retired citizens who are still active in fellowship and ministry. This group meets on the third Monday of every month and carries out many important ministries of the church. They normally share a carry-in dinner in the Family Life Center beginning at noon, followed by their devotional and business meeting. Sometimes they dine together at a local restaurant for their montly meeting.
Once each quarter this group takes trips to various places of regional interest. They also encourage their members to visit the sick or new members of the church and report back to the group at its monthly meetings.
We would like to invite all senior adults to join this very active group and help them work for God and have fun in the process. Hope to see YOU at our next meeting!!
Young Adult Leadership League (YALL)
"YALL" is the college age ministry of Daniels Chapel! We celebrate Christ and connect with other post high school persons in an effort to make a difference for Jesus Christ! In May of 2013 we sent a missions team from our group to GREECE, ministering to college students at the University of Athens in cooperation with the ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ International. We meet for small group bible study every Wednesday night in the Family Life Center at 7 pm. If you're interested in joining us, contact Josh Jurius.
Daniels Chapel Youth Ministry Pictures "WIN, BUILD, SEND IN THE CONTEXT OF LOVE" -Cru
YFA (9th - 12th grade)
The YFA is our group of High School students currently in ninth through twelfth grades. They meet each week for Sunday School in our Lighthouse Youth Ministry Center at 9:30 AM with Tim Daniel and Jennifer Balance. They meet again Sunday nights @ 6 pm in the Glenn Parlor for Bible Study where teens dig into Scripture together. Sunday night YFA is facilitated by Kathy Hayes, Josh Jurius, Greg Williamson, & Jennifer Ballance.
DCC YOUTH (6th - 12th grade)
Endeavor Worship is our Wednesday night program for teenagers 6th -12th grade. They enjoy games, music, worship, Bible study and fun all appealing to teens' interests! Endeavor Worship takes place from 7 to 8 pm in the Family Life Center and is led by our Youth Pastor, Cari Jurius. If you are in this age group, you will not want to miss this most exciting ministry!
Rocks (6th - 8th grade)
ROCKS is our Middle School group which meets each Sunday evening in the Lighthouse Youth Ministry Center at 6 pm. This group is always doing something new and fun! They are a very service orientated group. This group is led by Cari Jurius.
Cherubs/AFC (Kindergarten – 5th grade)
The AFC meets for Sunday School in the Family Life
Center @ 9:30 am on Sunday mornings prior to
worship. On Sunday evenings this group enjoys being a
part of our exciting Children’s Choir.
On Wednesday nights @ 7 pm they meet in the
Lighthouse Youth Ministry Center for Bible study and
lots of fun activities!
Kidsville (Pre-school to 5th grade)
Kidsville is our Sunday morning Children’s Church. Kidsville
takes place in the Family Life Center during morning worship at
10:30 am. Children are invited to begin the service in the
sanctuary where they are dismissed to Kidsville with our
volunteers. Kidsville is designed to give kids an opportunity to
learn bible stories through drama and storytelling. Each week
they make crafts and play games related to the day’s topic!
